Children's Closet
Our flagship walk-in closet offers free clothing, shoes, school supplies, books, diapers, blankets, and toiletries for children up to age 12. No appointments, no referrals, no paperwork - just show up.
Our Programs
Five programs that meet children where they are - from storefront closets and mobile trailers to in-school shops and hospital partnerships.
Teen Closet
Designed as a thrift-store shopping experience that respects teens' dignity and personal style. Teen Closets are housed inside local high schools where students can browse, try on, and choose their own clothing in private.
Children's Traveling Closet
A fully stocked 24-foot mobile trailer that brings clothing, diapers, and supplies directly to communities that need them most. We visit Boys & Girls Clubs, homeless shelters, schools, farmworker fields, and community centers.
Pediatric Closet
A partnership with Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria, established in 2016. This in-hospital closet provides essential clothing and supplies to local families with children receiving medical care. Dedicated to the memory of registered nurse Janet Davila.
Outreach Apparel
A student-run free clothing store at Pacific Beach High School in San Luis Obispo. In partnership with San Luis Coastal Unified School District, this program empowers students to operate the store, building leadership and business skills while serving their peers.

How to access our services
Walk In
Visit the Children's Closet at 1212 Farroll Ave in Arroyo Grande on Tuesdays between 2-4 PM. No appointment, no referral, no paperwork needed.
